Vinay brings a wealth of entrepreneurial and business leadership experience in the clean energy sector and international finance markets. Vinay has over three decades of experience in project finance and advisory, 16 of those years solely in renewable energy, infrastructure finance and policy advisory. Apricum is thrilled to have Vinay’s profound regional expertise and knowledge of the cleantech sector in India and other South Asian markets to offer its clients.
Vinay is currently Senior Director at Premier Energies Limited. Prior to this, he worked as Senior Director and Global Head of Renewables at CRISIL Limited and Managing Director at BRIDGE TO INDIA, which he founded in 2013 and sold to CRISIL in 2023. Before that he held leadership roles at companies including Standard Chartered Bank in Mumbai, National Australia Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in London.
As senior advisor at Apricum, clients can benefit from Vinay’s decades of specialist experience in renewable sector business strategy, transaction advisory and policy analysis besides his deep expertise in project development, solar manufacturing and power procurement.
Vinay holds an MBA from London Business School, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
