Based in Paris, David brings over two decades of global experience in private equity, corporate finance, and strategic advisory with a focus on the energy, infrastructure, and climate technology sectors.
David has held senior investment roles at leading institutions including 4D Global Energy Investments, Société Générale Asset Management, and Dresdner Kleinwort. At 4D Global Energy Investments, he led investment activities across Europe, North and Latin America, and Africa, with transaction experience exceeding $285 million and an average IRR of 12.3% across a diverse portfolio of private and listed companies.
Currently, David advises impact-driven, climate tech investors at Newgreen, where he is co-founder and managing director. Here he supports GP teams and portfolio companies in evaluating, structuring, and executing climate and energy transition investments. His recent work includes the strategic assessment of two €150M+ hydrogen infrastructure projects, focusing on risk allocation and bankability.
David is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds master’s degrees from Université Paris-Dauphine, Université Paris I – Sorbonne, and NEOMA Business School, in finance, industrial economics, and management respectively, as well as an executive certificate in entrepreneurship in renewable energy from École Polytechnique.
Fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese, David brings an exceptional blend of financial, strategic, and cross-cultural insight to Apricum’s advisory network.
