We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Norris as Apricum senior advisor. Paul is a senior infrastructure investment and finance executive with more than 30 years of experience across energy, utilities, and complex infrastructure systems. He brings a track record spanning over $50 billion in transactions across Europe and the Middle East, and has advised governments, institutional investors, and developers on large-scale, capital-intensive projects at the intersection of investment, delivery, and policy.
Paul’s recent roles include leading financial strategy and structuring for major energy and utility infrastructure developments at ENOWA (NEOM), as well as advising government entities across the Middle East on the design and execution of large-scale PPP and infrastructure projects. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions in project finance, infrastructure investment, and advisory at institutions including ACWA Power, VTB Capital, ABN AMRO, and the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance, where he played a key role in shaping infrastructure investment frameworks and financing strategies for national projects.
As a senior advisor at Apricum, Paul will support clients on M&A transaction strategy and execution in the renewable energy and infrastructure space—bringing deep financial structuring expertise and a strong network across institutional investors, developers, and government entities.
Paul holds an MSc in metals & energy finance from Imperial College London, a BSc in environmental geology from Royal Holloway, and has professional qualifications as a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Geologist, and Energy Risk Professional.
