Nikolai Dobrott

Nikolai Dobrott is the founder and managing partner of Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory.

Nikolai has profound technology and market knowledge in the solar, wind and integrated renewable energy industries, combined with deep functional expertise in strategy development, strategic business plan execution and corporate finance. He speaks at major cleantech and renewable energy conferences worldwide every year.

Before Apricum, Nikolai spent 15 years in leadership positions in the consulting and energy fields. He started his career at Arthur D. Little as a management consultant focused on chemicals and energy. He then led corporate development and M&A at Evonik Rütgers and later became director of renewable energies and resources at Germany Trade & Invest. Nikolai was named in the list of Who’s Who In MENAT Renewables 2017 as one of the top 250 decision makers and thought leaders who are shaping the sector and the region.

Nikolai holds a master’s in business administration and chemical engineering from the Technische Universität Berlin.
