Berlin, August 16, 2021: Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory acted as commercial due diligence advisor to their client HV Capital, the lead investor in photovoltaic systems provider Enpal’s EUR 100M funding round. Berlin-based Enpal uses a subscription model requiring no upfront costs to customers and has already installed over 4,500 solar systems in 2020 alone. To date, the firm has raised approximately EUR 110M to fund its expansion and achieve its goal of supplying one million households with solar rooftop systems by 2030.
Founded in 2017, Enpal is a leading provider in the German solar system rental market with over 8,000 customers currently.
Lead investor HV Capital is joined by German and international investors including SolarCity co-founder Peter Rive, E.R. Capital, FRIBA Investment and Heliad Equity Partners.
