Kai Stepputat
Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kai Stepputat as consultant for its expanding team in Berlin. In this role, Mr. Stepputat will leverage his experience with renewables and integrated renewable energy systems to the benefit of Apricum’s growing list of global clients.
Trained as an industrial engineer, Mr. Stepputat applies his strong market analysis, and technology assessment competencies to the wind, solar and hydrogen fields.
Kai is joining Apricum from the German renewable energy firm Enertrag, where as a working student he engaged in projects such as investigating the required logistic infrastructure for green hydrogen and derivatives plants in South America. Prior to that, he was a working student for the boutique consultancy enervis, which is involved in, among other things, analyzing the European electricity and gas markets, and developing strategic options for coal plant operators.
Kai holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering and management from the Technical University of Berlin and studied abroad at the East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and travelling.
