We’re delighted to announce the appointment of renewable energy expert Jochen Hauff to Apricum as senior executive advisor agrivoltaics.
Jochen brings deep expertise in corporate strategy, energy policy, and sustainability across the renewable energy sector. He is the founder of Think Resiliency, an advisory firm focused on enhancing climate resilience and mobilizing private capital for resiliency. He also serves as Ambassador Agrivoltaics for the Global Solar Council and is an Associated Partner of the European Alliance for Regenerative Agriculture, EARA. He thus supports the growth of agrivoltaics from a solar energy and agricultural perspective.
Jochen has held senior leadership roles as director of corporate strategy, energy policy & sustainability at BayWa r.e. Group, and through repeated terms as Vice President of SolarPower Europe between 2016 and 2024. Earlier in his career, he was director renewable energy & sustainability at Kearney, advising energy clients worldwide.
Jochen is a regular speaker at conferences and has authored numerous publications regarding renewable energy, climate resilience & protection, energy policy and corporate sustainability.
Jochen holds an MSc in environmental science & policy from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Tübingen, Germany. He is a senior Brandt fellow at the University of Erfurt and a faculty member of the renewable energy management program at the University of St. Gallen.
Jochen’s appointment strengthens Apricum’s advisory capabilities in agrivoltaics and climate resilience, areas of growing importance across the renewable energy sector. He will focus on capital raises for agrivoltaics projects, pipelines, and companies; sell-side mandates for agrivoltaics projects, pipelines, and companies; and M&A and investor support for those looking to invest in or acquire agrivoltaics assets or devise climate resilience strategies.
