Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory proudly announces the appointment of Philip von Huelst as vice president for our Berlin office, further enhancing the strong capabilities of our transaction advisory services. With a strong background as an experienced corporate strategy consultant specializing in IT and manufacturing, Philip brings invaluable expertise to our team, reinforcing our commitment to supporting clients and our mission of accelerating the global energy transition.
Philip’s industrial fields of competence encompass IT software and services, IT security, manufacturing and logistics. He possesses extensive functional competencies, including strategic development and strategy implementation, project management, M&A and process coordination, business transformation and innovation, as well as creating market studies and reports and stakeholder management and communication.
During his tenure at Ernst & Young from 2017 to 2024, Philip served as an M&A senior consultant, where he successfully managed and coordinated buy-side M&A transactions in the IT software, IT services and IT security sectors, collaborating with both national and international financial investors. He also contributed to sell-side transactions in the manufacturing industry, managing client relationships and creating key deliverables while building financial and valuation models.
Philip holds a Master’s in international management from ESADE Business and Law School and a Bachelor’s in economics from the University of Vienna. Fluent in both English and German, Philip’s international background and language skills further enhance his ability to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
