Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory is pleased to welcome Henri Bittel as our new project manager in the Berlin office. Henri’s expertise spans integrated utilities, energy retail and customer solutions, energy markets, hydrogen and fuel cells, energy infrastructure, and eMobility. With his strategic and technical skills, Henri will enhance our consulting team’s capabilities. His experience will enable Apricum to continue providing clients with innovative strategies, optimized business plans, and valuable market insights in the renewable energy sector.

Henri’s key functional competencies encompass strategy development and implementation, operating model design and implementation, post-merger integration, business transformation, market analysis, stakeholder management, and project management. At E.ON Inhouse Consulting GmbH, Henri played a crucial role in transforming the Energy Markets division during the energy crisis. He defined strategic growth directions for photovoltaic (PV), eMobility, heat pump sales, and energy retail sectors. Henri also crafted the business strategy for E.ON’s hydrogen unit, which resulted in a partnership with Fortescue Future Industries. Furthermore, he has supported the development of hydrogen strategies for the Paris municipality and contributed to the IRENA report on “Hydrogen from Renewable Sources.”

Henri holds a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. Fluent in English and French, Henri’s proficiency in multiple languages enhances his ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. In his free time, Henri enjoys hiking and exploring new technologies.
