Apricum – the Cleantech Advisory is pleased to welcome its newest senior advisor Robert Kellner. Robert is a cleantech, strategy, and commercial digitalization expert whose skills and experience will enhance Apricum’s ability to provide comprehensive strategic advisement to its growing client base.
Mr. Kellner brings a wealth of expertise to his position as senior advisor, having spent the last 20 years in the Internet & media and IoT/renewable energy industries Mr. Kellner most recently was CIO/CGO interim of the climate tech scale-up SENEC (autarky provider of EnBW), where he transformed the mid-size hardware company into an internationally-leading climate tech IoT firm with a 100% YoY revenue growth. Prior to this role, Mr. Kellner held regional managing director positions in Internet scale-ups (Insparx/PARSHIP) in both growth and transformation lead roles (XING/ADAC/Scout24).
Mr. Kellner started as assistant to the CFO at Siemens Mobile USA. He built the German entity of a pan-European strategy consulting firm as shareholder and member of the management team and led the Internet practice (sold to EY).
His functional expertise ranges from cross-functional business management to OKR-based agile growth strategy and execution. This includes KPI-centric scaling of business operations (marketing to customer service), agile organizations and people development, as well as strategic partnerships and commercial due diligence. His industry focus is on renewable/decentralized energy, autarky (retrofitting homes) and smart cities.
Mr. Kellner holds a master’s degree in International Management from Augsburg’s University of Applied Sciences and an Executive MBA from University of St.Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland.
