Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory is excited to announce that corporate strategy and distributed energy expert Daniel Domingues has joined our team as a senior advisor based in Dubai.
Daniel’s extensive background in distributed generation, solar energy and corporate PPAs, coupled with his expertise in strategy development and project management, makes him a valuable asset that will empower our growing list of clients with the insights they need to accelerate, and benefit from, the global renewable energy transition.
His strategic insights have also played a pivotal role in steering the course of the distributed energy landscape. During his seventeen-year career, he has led a range of impactful projects like driving the development of a groundbreaking distributed energy joint-venture, strategically targeting the dynamic GCC countries and developing a process-driven business development strategy targeting solar rooftop opportunities in the GCC.
Prior to joining Apricum, Daniel founded Sirius Energy, an energy-tech company focusing on energy-as-a-service, as well as Planno, an AI-driven platform that links solar energy companies with prime rooftops and potential new customers. He also served as director of business development for the European-based clean energy technology company in Enviromena.
Fluent in English as well as his native-language Portuguese, Daniel holds a postgraduate diploma in corporate management (PgD) from ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management, as well as a Master’s in civil engineering from Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon.
