David’s distinguished career is marked by a profound understanding of renewable technologies, spanning wind and solar, as well as expertise in energy storage, hydrogen and CCU. His broad functional competencies range from business management and strategy development to technical due diligence and change management. Noteworthy is David’s role as an advisor and expert witness for the Kingdom of Spain in eight renewable investment arbitration processes, showcasing his mastery in regulation, market dynamics and technology, along with valuable insights into financial and economic considerations.
Before joining Apricum, David served as the global head of renewables and sustainable energies at Capgemini, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership. His extensive experience also includes a significant tenure as director of the renewable energy business unit at Altran (Capgemini) and earlier consulting roles at Cadtech.
David holds a Master’s in industrial engineering from Carlos III University in Madrid, specializing in business organization. Additionally, he is a graduate of the General Management Program (PDG) from IESE Business School. Fluent in both English and Spanish, David possesses excellent communication skills crucial for collaborative and impactful consulting.
